Geography

The area is about 168.34 kilometers, the most easterly of the main islands of the Five Islands, and the second largest of the Fukue Islands. On Japanese islands, it is smaller than Rishiri Island and 19th largest. The population at the time of the 2010 census is 20,167. The island is about 18 kilometers to the east and 39 kilometers to the south and is narrow to the north. The highest peak is a long-distance mountain in the North, on the peninsula of the Fish District, where steep slopes are approaching the coast at a low level and in most areas. With the intricate coastlines of the Arias coast, which cover a distance of 278 miles, it has a variety of changes from a steep sea-feeding cliff more than 100 meters high to a shallow sand beach and a sandy mud flat. Geology is based on the "Field Islands," consisting of sandstones of the new third class, and so on. The climate is so affected by the Tsushima Island heat current that it is mild all year round. The plants are in the apricot forest, where yakuza, sea horses, and oaks grow themselves. On the beach, you can also see sea plants such as ducks, mahogany, and tuna. On the other hand, animals also have records of rare, invertebrate crabs. There are other islands, such as XXQ 1099X, on the other side of the Channel.
